Garbage Disposer:

Garbage Disposer 's like any mechanical or electrical appliance can cause severe injury if proper safety precautions fail to be practiced.  Never place your hand or any other object inside the appliance other than what it is designed for. Always disconnect power supply before attemptinrepair mang any repairs.

Disposal is dead:

  1. Is the circuit breaker for the disposal is tripped?
  2. Is the disposal's internal circuit breaker is tripped. Look for a little red button underneath disposal and press it in. If it was out, you'll hear it click when you press it.

It hums but it don't grind:

  1. Something has jammed inside the Garbage Disposer. Before attempting to dislodge anything make sure the power is turned off! You may need to reset the circuit breaker, too.
  2. If the disposal sounds rough after running for several minutes, then you'll need to replace it soon.

It makes more noise than usual:

  1. A piece of metal went down the disposal. It may eventually work itself out.
  2. The main bearings are wearing out and disposal will need to be replaced soon.

Water does not drain:

  • Possibly drain or Garbage Disposer is plugged.

Microwave oven:

WARNING: Never remove the cabinet! Microwave ovens generates very high voltages, these components can cause serious injuries or even death even when the machine is disconnected from power. Do not perform any repairs yourself, please contact us for help!

Microwave will not start:

  1. Check power supply, House breaker/Fuse panel.
  2. Double-check the program that you entered.
  3. Unplug the microwave or turn the breaker off for approximately 20 to 30 minutes then plug back in;   reprogram the clock and retry the cycle.

Microwave runs but does not heat:

  • Servicing of all internal components requires the use of special diagnostics equipment; please contact us for help!

Odors:

  1. Maintaining a clean microwave is the best way to avoid odors.  Spills and other food particles should be removed after each use of the appliance.
  2. Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda to 1 cup of water or add 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1 cup of water. Place in the   microwave and run for approximately 2 to 3 minutes.

Nothing Works:

  • Check power supply, House breaker/Fuse panel.

One of the surface elements don't work:

  • The element or the switch is the problem. You can try switching the element with another one that you know works OK to find out which part failed.

Surface element is getting too hot:

  • A temperature selector/control switch has failed.

Surface element hardly gets warm:

  1. Check power supply, House breaker/Fuse panel. Many models share fuses, it is possible to getting only half the required power because one fuse has blown.
  2. Failed temperature control switch.

Oven bake cycle doesn't work:

  • Try the broil cycle, if the broil cycle works then it’s likely that you have a burnt out element or shorted wire.

Bake cycle, Oven gets too hot or only gets warm:

The thermostat may require recalibrating. Check the oven temperature, if it is more than 50 degrees out you will likely require a new oven thermostat.

Cooking aid         Broil cycle doesn't work:

  • Time or delay bake Option: Check clock settings. Assure that settings are in manual bake mode and not  automatic.
